Staples Canada, a 300-plus store division of Staples, Inc., has used ClairVista’s  Live Expert since 2009 to provide in-store graphic design services with live video chat and interactive content sharing.  In-store customers use an all-in-one computer terminal to instantly connect to remote agents based on customer’s language preference and service needs.   Services include customer designed logos, stationery, business cards, forms, invitations, and signs.  While speaking face-to-face, agents share design concepts and product samples right on the customer’s screen for the customer to review before placing an order.

The Live Expert implementation took only two weeks to prepare and was accomplished  over a weekend. Staples Canada has continued to roll out its Live Video Agent service to additional stores and is expected to produce approx. 150,000 custom orders over the next 12 months using the Live Expert system.
